Sr. Accountant

As the Sr. Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing portions of the company’s financial statements and reporting requirements to outside parties. The right candidate will excel in overseeing general accounting operations that include regular scheduled duties and one-off analysis and reconciliation needed to assist with the successful operations of the company.
What You’ll Do
- Participate with the preparation of financial statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of key financial transactions, manage key vendor relationships with regards to accounting impact, and analysis to support related business objectives.
- Optimize accounting operations and improve efficiency within the company including participating in any future system enhancement or implementations.
- Participate in annual audit and tax engagement activities. This includes preparing schedules and providing supporting documentation or memos.
- Manage all state and local tax filings.
- Work with other teams on projects and initiatives that impact the financial preformation of the company.
- Support other team members in execution of high priority task when needed and in the creations of internal control to safeguard the company assets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
Required
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and task management skills.
- Collaborative team player with customer service mentality for both external and internal customers.
- Strong sense of urgency in delivery and prioritization of tasks.
- Working knowledge of MS office Suite with strong Excel skills
- Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills and develop processes.
Preferred
- Experience and exposure in public accounting
- CPA Certification preferred
- Familiarity in SaaS business models is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce and Zuora a plus.
- Experience in system implementation a plus.

- Salary Range for this position is $80,000-95,000

This position can be 100% remote, but employees must be located in: California, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Washington state.
