The Ultimate Everything
Life gets busy… it is easy to forget life. Purpose is not a job or a relationship, it is who you are and why you live. It is about contemplation, bravery, and facing what you want or asking for.
1. Think About Your Passions:
They are the handrail to your purpose. What are the things you LOVE doing and time flies? Even if you were not going to get paid; what would you be doing? Your passion is a powerful signal that deep down, this thing really lights you up. Do things that set your soul on fire.
2. Accept Challenges:
Challenges = opportunities to learn not threats. The lesson learned with every single setback leads itself to resilience, patience and perseverance. Fail, that is the only way to succeed and learn a little bit of yourself along the way.
3. Connect With Others:
Life’s purpose also often is in the connections we make with others— **Also applicable to entrepreneur ONLY** Life also can be the relationships we foster. Whatever it is — whether it’s assisting someone who truly requires help, distributing knowledge or listening to a friend when they need you — your actions matter. This in turn will make you a positive encouraging figure around everybody.
4. Create Simple Goals:
Goals provide your life with direction, and encourage you to eke every last ounce of productivity out of yourself. But these goals must be criteria from your values and passions. Set goals that align your sense of purpose, not what society defines as successful.
5. Demonstrate Gratitude:
Sometimes purpose is not about the changes we will make to get there. These times are about being present — looking at the sky, taking a bike tour for leisure or spending time with your close friends. In other words, gratitude helps you stop focussing on what you don’t have and shows you the hidden treasures that are already there.
6. ALWAYS BE LEARNING AND GROWING:
You are an evolving person throughout life. Experiment with new experiences, think outside the box and be open to other perspectives. The more you open up to learning the things that expand your mind, the clearer your path to where you are going.
7. Stay True to You:
Purpose lives where authenticity permeates. Never let mentally manipulating the noise of society or someone else’s expectations lead you astray. Be strict with yourself in terms of what you wish and go after that unapologetically.
However, purpose is not a destination; it really is a journey. Live every way, learn every delight, and never cease looking for the purpose that gives meaning to your life. As always, your life work is not something to be discovered; it must be invented.
